What each outcome does

IF YES PASSES

If Proposition B passes, individuals will be limited to serving a maximum of two four-year terms in total as mayor and two four-year terms in total on the Board of Supervisors over their lifetime.

IF NO PASSES

If Proposition B fails, the current term limit law will remain in effect, allowing individuals to serve two consecutive four-year terms, take a four-year break, and then run for office again.
